Derek Peddle is originally from Whitbourne, Newfoundland Labrador. He began painting, drawing and creating from a very young age, which made his career choice an easy one. Derek is an art director for Vivid Communications, a company of which he is co-owner. 

 

Derek now lives in Conception Bay South with his wife Sharon. They have two children, Brittany and Joshua.

Derek is currently working on a series of works under the theme “Rocks and Roots” . Derek is planning a solo exhibit of these pieces in the near future.

Another passion for Derek is writing and self publishing children’s books. He has been commissioned to illustrate many books over the year. Derek has 2 of his own books completed and in stores and he has another one that he is launching in the fall of 2019.
